Home / About Us

We are a volunteer-run association caring for one of Bradwell's most meaningful places.

Our work combines practical cemetery management, long-term stewardship, and respect for the history of a rural Saskatchewan community.

A local organization with a long view

Bradwell Cemetery Association Inc. is a community-based, volunteer-run organization responsible for the care, administration, and preservation of Bradwell Cemetery. We operate as a registered Canadian charity under registry number 118816198RR0001, and we serve families from Bradwell and nearby rural areas who depend on the cemetery as a place of remembrance and continuity.

Like many rural cemetery associations across Saskatchewan, our organization grew from local necessity. As farming families established homes and livelihoods in the region, the community needed a respectful and permanent place to honor loved ones. The association formed to meet that responsibility and has continued adapting its work over time.

Today, we remain focused on practical stewardship: grounds maintenance, burial coordination, records management, and preserving the cemetery as a dignified public place for reflection.

Rooted in Bradwell, Saskatchewan

Bradwell is a small agricultural community shaped by prairie life, family ties, and a strong tradition of neighbors helping neighbors. In that environment, the cemetery has always held a special place. It is both a resting place and a record of the people who helped build the district.

Because rural communities often rely on local leadership and volunteer effort, cemetery associations like ours play a practical and cultural role at the same time. We maintain the grounds not only for present needs, but also so future generations can recognize the people and stories that came before them.
